In-Person Client's Moody Laundry Room

This interior design client sought a moody, organic aesthetic for their laundry room. However, due to the absence of windows and natural light, making the entire space dark wasn't feasible, especially considering its function as a laundry area. To address this challenge, we incorporated wainscoting on one-third of the wall height. This addition not only brightened the room but also enhanced its overall appeal and added character to the walls. We swapped out the builder grade rectangular LED flush mount lighting to a more modern ceiling light. To conceal the circuit breaker, we installed a photo that swings open, providing easy access when necessary. The crown moulding on the ceiling helped add a touch of elegance to the room, drawing the eyes upward and highlighting the architectural beauty of the space.
